The third annual Profitsflow Customer Day was held on Tuesday 20th November, at the Carnegie Court Hotel in Swords. We had a mix of EFACS and Eagle Field Service customers at the event. Customers came from as far as the US and UK and there was a good mix of Irish customers in attendance as well.
The morning began with some welcome coffees and networking. The event was officially opened at 10am by Tadhg Henderson, Managing Director of Profitsflow, with an outline of the day’s agenda. Jonathan Orme from Exel Computer Systems, was next to speak, introducing EFACS author Exel Computer Systems, based in Nottingham.
Lee Harding, Exel Computer Systems, presented the the development plan for the EFACS software over the coming years. Lee was able to give the attendees an overview of the newest EFACS update, EFACS E/8 8.6.2. Within the new update, there will be a Product Configurator application and a new Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) Workbench, which was of great interest to the attendees.
Feeling refreshed after a coffee and networking break, there was a presentation by guest speaker Barry Clough from iomart, Profitsflow’s hosted solutions partner. The discussion surrounding a cloud based solution was of interest to many of our customers. An Open Forum was chaired by Profitsflow’s Eamonn Kelly, allowing attendees to engage with each other and to discuss how each company is utilising the software. There was a light lunch with more networking, followed by the event close.
We would like to thank all of our customers who came to this event, for making the day successful. We would also like to extend our thanks to the iomart and Exel teams, especially Barry Clough, Lee Harding, Jonathan Orme and Rue Dilhe who travelled over from the United Kingdom for the event.
