With companies visiting from Meath and Galway joining the more local attendees from the Dublin area, a number of manufacturing and field service companies ensured that a good mix of features and functionality was reviewed.

Tadhg Henderson, MD of Profitsflow was first speaker to greet the audience and give a background on Profitsflow, the EFACS product and to introduce Tony Pottle of Exel Computer Systems.  Tony then followed  with an initial overview of the product, introducing the new interface with its embedded dashboards allowing for fast and efficient access to data from various modules of the system.  There followed  a welcome coffee break providing further networking opportunities.

Happily caffeinated and ready for more exciting ERP,  Tony kicked off with a more detailed presentation on the product itself.  Not one to follow a set script, Tony proceeded to involve the audience in the session asking for feedback and questions.  This approach ensured that all attendees got the most they could from the event, as was evidenced by the fact that there were very few questions outstanding at the end when we arrived at the Questions & Answers section!  Starting with CRM, prospect and pipeline management, moving on through quotations to order processing then through manufacturing and supply chain, then on to accounts,  all were agreed that the integrated nature of the software together with its new, clean “Windows 10 style” interface made for a pleasant user experience.

A buffet lunch with networking completed a good morning’s work, which, in fact, with questions around implementation approach and training methodology stretched into the mid-afternoon for a few of the participants.
