First Annual Profitsflow User Group Meeting

Written by

On Wednesday 20th November, Profitsflow held the first Profitsflow EFACS User Group Meeting at The Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge.

The Profitsflow User Group was set up in 2019, as we were celebrating 10 years in operation and with a customer base that was continuing to grow, Profitsflow wanted to find another way to stay connected with their customers.

The User Group Meeting brought together 12 different companies from various manufacturing and field service backgrounds, such as electronics, medical, chemical, automotive and more.

The Meeting began at 9:30am with coffee and networking. There was the Chairperson’s Welcome by User Group Committee Chairperson, Aisling Doyle, followed by Profitsflow’s Eamonn Kelly presenting Tips & Tricks for using the EFACS software. Then came the Open Forum, which was kindly chaired by User Group Committee member Deirdre O’Donovan of O’Donovan’s Engineering and Profitsflow MD, Tadhg Henderson. The Open Forum gave Profitsflow customers a chance to discuss the EFACS software between themselves and also to ask questions about different aspects of the software.

After a networking coffee break, Exel Computer Systems joined the Meeting to discuss the latest updates that will be coming to the EFACS software with the 8.6.3 release. This includes Bank Reconciliation, improvements to the MRP Workbench and Delivery Loads. Lee Harding of Exel also gave a presentation on the different uses of EFACS Mobile, which was of interest to many companies at the Meeting.

Lunch was then served, which gave customers another chance to get together and discuss the software and to chat about the different companies. After lunch, the Profitsflow and Exel teams were available to talk with any of the customers who wished to chat about the software.

We would like to extend a big thank you to all of our customers who came to the event and made the first Profitsflow User Group Meeting such a success. We would also like to extend thanks to the team at Exel Computer Systems, especially Jonathan Orme and Lee Harding who travelled over to Ireland and presented at the Meeting.
