Vacancy - ERP Implementation and Support Consultant

Profitsflow.com supplies world class ERP and CRM software solutions to Irish business. Due to continued expansion, we now have a vacancy for an ERP Implementation and Support Consultant to help deliver our services

primarily to our growing user base in Ulster and North Leinster.  This position will involve helping our customers implement our ERP software solutions, working on site on both new projects and delivering upgrades and other value-added services to existing clients.  The role will also involve some assistance with the technical support helpdesk as well as helping with development for projects using our product's customisation toolkits. As we are based in Wexford, remote working is an option with occasional visits to the office.

The right candidate will be expected to upskill in the role over time ultimately becoming involved in all aspects of project delivery. It is a varied role encompassing all aspects of the ERP software life-cycle. A strong candidate will be a recent graduate of a relevant discipline or have experience of a similar role, excellent communication skills, consistent work ethic and a desire to be a part of a fast growing, ever evolving business.


Skills & Experience Required

You must have demonstrable experience of the following:

  • Ability to identify and articulate solutions that will meet customers' needs.
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers' staff thereby enabling the exchange of technical and business information.
  • Be active in defining on-going processes, best practice and services offerings.
  • A methodical and organised approach to managing your schedule and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability and desire to grow with the organisation - so an ability to grasp new concepts quickly and work on your own initiative, is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
  • Good written English ability.
  • You must have a willingness to travel (primarily throughout Ireland, focused on Ulster/NI/North Leinster but may be required elsewhere in Ireland, and very occasional UK visits.)
  • Be a team player with a 'can do' attitude.

It would be desirable if you have experience/skills in a sub-set of the following areas:

  • ERP or accounting software
  • SQL, SQL Server, XML, JavaScript, HTML
  • Windows Servers
  • Proficiency with office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Proficiency with BIRT, SSRS and/or crystal report writing tools.
  • General business acumen and understanding of how business processes work.

 

Main tasks & duties

  • Onsite consultancy to deliver ERP implementation projects
  • Project management and maintenance of project delivery schedule
  • Participation in internal project delivery meetings
  • Review and assist in preparation of client training materials
  • Reports development
  • Data migration and analysis
  • Remote and onsite configuration of software
