ERP Technical Support Executive

Profitsflow supplies world class ERP software solutions to Irish business. Due to continued expansion, we now have a vacancy for an ERP Technical Support Executive based at our Wexford office.

This position will involve helping our customers on the technical support helpdesk, with a view to upskilling in time to becoming involved in live implementation and project delivery.  It is a varied role encompassing all aspects of the ERP software life-cycle. A strong candidate will be a recent graduate of a relevant discipline or have experience of a similar role, excellent communication skills, consistent work ethic and a desire to be a part of a fast growing, ever evolving business.


Skills & Experience Required

You must have demonstrable experience of the following:

  • Ability to identify and articulate solutions that will meet customers' needs.
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers' staff thereby enabling the exchange of technical and business information.
  • Be active in defining on-going processes, best practice and services offerings.
  • A methodical and organised approach to managing your schedule and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability and desire to grow with the organisation - so an ability to grasp new concepts quickly and work on your own initiative, is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
  • Good written English ability.
  • You must have a willingness to travel occasionally in the medium term (primarily throughout Ireland, with very occasional UK visits), be a team player with a 'can do' attitude.


It would be desirable if you have experience/skills in a sub-set of the following areas:

  • SQL, SQL Server, XML, JavaScript, HTML
  • Windows Servers
  • Proficiency with office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Proficiency with BIRT, SSRS and crystal report writing tools.


Main tasks & duties

  • First level support of technical support incidents as they are reported by customers
  • Participation in internal project delivery meetings
  • Review and assist in preparation of client training materials
  • Remote configuration of software
  • Reports development
  • Data migration and analysis
  • Medium term, growing to onsite consultancy with customers
